Dave was one of the most prolific basketball players in CMU history... graduated in 1964 as the Chippewas' all-time leading scorer (1,263) and rebounder (978 rebounds, 11.5 rpg)... earned four letters and served as a co-captain... only four CMU players have since tallied 1,000 points and 900 rebounds... averaged 13.5 rebounds in 1961-62 and 11.8 in 1963-64 despite being only 6-foot5... a first-team All-Interstate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference pick... led CMU to the IIAC title in 1964.
