One of the finest hitters ever to wear the Maroon and Gold, Doug helped lead CMU to three Mid-American Conference (MAC) championships (1984-86) and still holds six career batting marks ... first team All-MAC and All-Mideast Region in 1985 and '86 ... holds career marks for doubles (46), home runs (41), extra base hits (95), slugging percentage (.709), total bases (414) and game-winning RBI (21) ... is second all-time in hits (229) and RBI (181) ... a product of Bridgeport High.
