A two-time All-American and three-time Mid-American Conference champion during his Chippewa career from 2000-04 .... ranks seventh in program history with 104 career victories ... one of 19 members of the Chippewa 100-Win Club ... his .806 career win percentage is fifth in program history ... helped the Chippewas to first-place finishes in three consecutive MAC Championships ... named the 2001 MAC Freshman of the Year and in 2004 was the league's wrestler of the year ... a four-time NCAA Championships qualifier ... placed fourth in 2004 and fifth in 2003 ... three times named the Chippewas' Most Valuable Wrestler ... named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll in 2002, to the National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Academic First Team in 2004, and to the second team in 2003.
