Led the CMU men's track and field program from 1985-2009, winning three Mid-American Conference outdoor championships and one MAC indoor title ... named MAC Coach of the Year eight times ... coached 16 NCAA All-Americans ... led student-athletes to 97 MAC Championships ... nine of his student-athletes named Outstanding Performer and five were selected the Most Valuable Performer at MAC Championships ... led the Chippewas to first indoor MAC title in 2005, and later that year led CMU to the outdoor crown, marking the only time in CMU history the Chippewa men won the indoor and outdoor titles in the same season ... named 2005 Regional Indoor Coach of the Year and District Outdoor Coach of the year by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ... oversaw a Chippewa cross country program that captured 6 MAC championships ... during his tenure, 41 Chippewas earned Academic All-MAC honors.
