Arguably the top dual threat pitcher/hitter in CMU history, Tina became only the fourth player in league history to earn four first-team All-Mid-American Conference selections... the MAC Freshman of the Year in 1997, a two-time MAC Player of the Year (1998, 2000) and the 1999 MAC Tournament MVP... a two-time first-team all-region selection... a three-time MAC All-Tournament team honoree and twice named to the all-tournament team at NCAA regionals... posted a career record of 77 wins and 35 losses with a 1.64 ERA... set CMU's career records for appearances (126), wins (77), complete games (82), innings pitched (744.1) and strikeouts (509)... the 77 career wins tied a MAC record... set the single-season CMU records for wins (24, 2000)... recorded 155 strikeouts in 1997 which ranked second in CMU annals... fired a no-hitter in the 1999 MAC Tournament opener against Akron and didn't allow a run in 28 innings en route to MVP honors... hurled a string of 41 consecutive scoreless innings in 1997... led the MAC in ERA in 1999 (1.14... led the Chippewas in hitting and ranked second in the MAC in 1998 with a .374 batting average... compiled a 24-8 record, including 10 shutouts, as a senior... struck out a season-high 155 batters as a freshman, which then ranked second in CMU single-season history... sported a career batting average of .308 (181-for-587) with 90 RBI and 11 home runs... a member of one MAC championship team and three teams that won MAC Tournament titles and played in the NCAA Tournament... defeated six top-15 ranked teams in her career, including four in the NCAA Tournament... tossed 15 shutout innings in an extra-innings win over No. 10-ranked Michigan State as a freshman... later that year defeated both No. 13-ranked Michigan State (twice) and No. 8-ranked Michigan in the NCAA Tournament as CMU fell one game short of a Women's College World Series bid... defeated No. 6-ranked Michigan in 1999, ending the Wolverines 33-game unbeaten streak... went all 13 innings in an NCAA Tournament upset of the region's top-seeded team, No. 9-ranked Stanford, in 2000... named MAC Pitcher of the Year twice... was the fifth overall pick by the Ohio Pride in the 2000 Women's Pro Softball League Senior Draft... a Glendale, Calif., native who prepped at Hoover High School.
