Men's Track Competes At Eastern Michigan

The Central Michigan University men's track and field team competed at the non-scoring Eastern Michigan University Twilight Meet on Friday at Marshall Track.

Ronnie Zatkoff (Clinton Township/So.) and Dana Thomas (East Lansing/Fr.) tied for first in the high jump with a mark of 1.95 meters. Thomas also took second in the 400m hurdles (54.21).

Other top performances were turned in by: Greg Richardson (Lansing/Sr.) who took second in the 110m high hurdles (14.19), Pat Walderzak (Frankenmuth/So.) second in the discus (46.90m), Nick Squires (Clare/So.) second in the hammer (175-00), Nathan Parker (Fowlerville/Sr.) tied for second in the hgh jump (1.90m) and Matt Loughead (Clinton Township/Sr.) second in the javelin (54.54m).

The Chippewas compete at the Drake Relays on April 28-29.
