Men's Track In First At MAC Championships

BUFFALO, NY--The Central Michigan men's track and field team is in first place after the first day of action at the Mid-American Conference championships.
Central has 16 points and is followed by Eastern Michigan with 15 points and Western Michigan with 14 points.
Ryan Watson (Cedar Springs/Sr.) won the 10,000m in a time of 30:32.33 to become CMU's first champion of the weekend.
Also scoring for the Chippewas were Jacob Brundage (Stanton/Sr.) who took fifth in the 10,000m (30:45.83) and Lucas Humphrey (Sidney/Fr.) who finished seventh in the 10,000m (30:56.58).
Competition continues on Friday and Saturday.
