Men's Track In Action At MAC Championships

OXFORD, Ohio--The Central Michigan men's track and field team had five athletes score points on the first day of competition at the Mid-American Conference Track and Field Championships being held at Miami University May 17-19.
Pat Walderzak finished third in the hammer with a toss of 191-5 to lead the Chippewas.
Other point scorers included: Tristen Perlberg who took fourth in the 10,000m (31.05.79), Luke Humphrey sixth in the 10,000m (31:18.55), Carl Taylor sixth in the hammer (178-8), and John Pilling sixth in the javelin (178-10).
Competition continues on Friday and Saturday.
