Jeff Davis ran in the SVSU Collegiate Open and won the 5000-meter run with the time of 14.40.50. He is coming off an injury that has kept him out a long time. He did a real nice job.
KNAPP ON THE CENTRAL COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIPS -"This will be our first scoring meet and it will change everything. We are going to try and score as many points as possible. We will be a fresher team. It is going to be interesting with more teams attending. There will be MAC teams as well as Notre Dame, DePaul, U of D, Loyola, Marquette and a few more."
