Women's Cross Country Finishes 12th At Notre Dame Invite

NOTRE DAME, Indiana - The Central Michigan University women's cross country team finished 12th out of 24 teams with 368 points at the Notre Dame on Friday evening. It was a 5k race.
Junior Karen LeRoy of Oxford finished 50th with a time of 18:34. Other finishers behind LeRoy were: junior Kristen Podein of Rockford, 64th (18:47); junior Melissa Miller of Portland, 80th (18:59); junior Cami Moll of Zeeland, 86th (19:01); junior Danielle Quisenberry of Middleville, 88th (19:02); freshman Teresa Bongiovanni of Washington, 90th (19:03); and freshman Holly Klamer of Martin, 144th (19:44).
The Chippewas will travel to Milford on Friday, October 11, for the Michigan Intercollegiates at 3 p.m.
