Men's Track Takes Part In Spring Classic

SOUTH BEND, IND -- The Central Michigan University men's track squad competed in the Notre Dame Spring Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Ronnie Zatkoff and Adam Lyon wre the only two first-place finishers for the Chippewas. Zatkoff took the top spot in the high jump (6-8) and Lyon in the 400m hurdles (53.35).
Other top finishers for CMU were Derold Sligh taking the second spot in the 400m (48.01), the 400m relay team with a second-place finish (42.03) and Steve Wolf coming in second in the high jump. (21-6 1/4).
The Chippewas return to action on April 13 when they travel to Bloomington, Ind., to take part in the Indiana USTCA Quad.
