Women's Cross Takes 17th At Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Central Michigan University women's cross country team finished 17th at the Notre Dame Invitational in Notre Dame, Ind., on Friday afternoon.
Host Notre Dame won the meet with 73 points. Wake Forest was second with 105 points. CMU had 427 points. There were 20 teams racing the 5k blue race.
Cami Moll led the way for CMU. She finished in 67th place in 18:50. She was followed by Karen LeRoy in 87th (19:05). Also scoring were: Danielle Quisenberry (91st, 19:12); Holly Klamer (98th, 19:18); and Melissa Quisenberry (104th, 19:22). Melissa Miller (110th, 19:26) and Megan Newton (122nd, 19:41) also raced.
Shannon Webster was 127th in 19:59 and Ashley Anderson was 133rd in 20:07.
Molly Huddle of Notre Dame won the event title. She had a top time of 17:12.
