Women's Cross Finishes Sixth At MAC Meet

AKRON, Ohio - Cami Moll led the Central Michigan University women's cross country team as the Chippewas were sixth at the Mid-American Conference Championships this afternoon.
The Chippewas were sixth with 130 points. Ball State won the team title with 73. Trailing the Cardinals were Toledo (78), Akron (82), Western Michigan, (120), Miami (124), and CMU.
Moll was the top Chippewa runner. She garnered All-MAC second team honors with an 11th-place finish. She ran the 5k course in 18:01. Miami's Andrea Kremer was the individual champion. She paced all runners with a time of 17:16.
Also scoring for CMU was Danielle Quisenberry (17th, 18:09), Melissa Miller (24th, 18:24), Teresa Bongiovanni (31st, 18:38), and Holly Klamer (47th, 18:57).
Megan Newton (55th, 19:03) and Karen LeRoy (63rd, 19:13) also raced for the Maroon and Gold.
