Chippewas Take First At Mel Brodt

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Central Michigan University women's cross country team finished first place at the 5K Mel Brodt Invitational in Bowling Green, Ohio, this afternoon. CMU led the pack with a team score of 33 points.
Following the Chippewas were: host Bowling Green (69); Oakland (96); Cincinnati (107); Dayton (120); IPFW (140); Ohio (166); and Cleveland State (248).
The Chippewas had four runners finish in the top 10 and were led by Cami Moll and Melissa Miller. Moll was third and Miller finished fourth. Also claiming top-10 finishes were Danielle Quisenberry (seventh), Karen LeRoy (ninth), and Megan Newton (10th).
The Chippewas return to action at the Spartan Invite in East Lansing on Saturday, September 19.
