Men's Track Tallies Six First-Place Finishes

MOUNT PLEASANT - The Central Michigan University men's track and field team grabbed six first-place finishes in an indoor track meet against Notre Dame, Michigan State and Western Michigan on Friday evening.
The Chippewas were led by Soji Jibowu in the 200m (21.8), Luke Humphrey in the mile (4:22.97), Steve Wezner in the 600m (1:22.04), Don Wilkins in the 3000m (8:20.10), Dave Stallworth in the weight throw (58-3) and the 4x400m relay team (3:21.32), all of whom finished in first place.
The men's team returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 23, when it races in the Central Collegiates in Ypsilanti. The next home meet is on Friday, Feb. 20, when the men host the Jack Skoog Open at the Jack Skoog Track in the Indoor Athletic Complex.
