Two Men's Cross Country Runners Named Academic All-MAC

MOUNT PLEASANT--Two Central Michigan University men's cross country student-athletes were named to the Academic All-Mid American Conference team this week.
Jacob Crowe, a senior from Grand Ledge, holds a cumulative grade point average of 3.64 and is majoring in entrepreneurship. Crowe finished 20th in the MAC Championships this season to help the Chippewas to a third straight MAC title. He also posted the fastest time at the Jeff Drenth Memorial taking first place with a 5k time of 15:20.
Frank Therrian, a sophomore, has run in all five meets this season. The Holton native boast a 3.89 GPA and is majoring in dietetics. Therrian placed 16th at the MAC meet with an 8k time of 25:57.15.
To receive Academic All-MAC honors a student athlete must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50% of the contest. Transfer students and freshman are not eligible during their first year.
