Limited Number of Hall of Fame Tickets Remain

MOUNT PLEASANT - A limited number of tickets for the 2004 Central Michigan University Athletic Hall of Fame banquet, slated for Friday, Oct. 1, are available.
Joining the Hall of Fame will be: John DeBoer (1985), football; Dick Horgan (1970), golf; Greg Lotzar (1985), baseball; Dave Nelson (1964), basketball; Carla (Sterk) Fles (1993), basketball; Marcy Weston (1974-88), volleyball coach; and the 1974 football team that won the Division II national championship.
Nearly 50 members from that championship team will return for the weekend including head coach Roy Kramer.
Induction ceremonies will be held at the Comfort Inn with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $30 and may be purchased at the CMU Ticket Office (989-774-2964).
This year's class will join the 119 members previously inducted into the Hall of Fame. The first CMU Athletics Hall of Fame class was inducted in 1984. Plaques honoring all the inductees will be on display at the Dan Rose Center.
