Moon Named Compliance Coordinator

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University Athletics Director Herb Deromedi has announced the promotion of Josh Moon to compliance coordinator.
Moon has served as a compliance assistant since December 2004. In that role, he provided interpretations and compliance education to CMU coaches and student-athletes. His new role will include more administrative duties, including financial aid. Moon was a facility management/game administration graduate assistant for one semester at CMU as well.
The Wautoma, Wis., native received two degrees from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business marketing (May 2003) and a bachelor of science in sport management (December 2003). Moon was a three-year letterwinner for the Wisconsin-LaCrosse football team and a first team all-conference defensive back in 2002 while helping the Eagles to a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship that year.
Moon's previous athletic administration experience includes serving as a media relations and business operations intern for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (2003), an intern for the Western Wisconsin Technical College Athletics Department (2001-02), and a game day operations/promotions intern for the LaCrosse Bobcats of the Continental Basketball Association (2000-01).
Moon, who is close to completing a master's degree in sport administration from CMU, is engaged to Andria Lewandowski.
