Family Day Winners Announced

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University Athletics and the Student Book Exchange would like to congratulate the Jordan family for winning the Family Day contest at the Sept. 16 football game against Akron. The Jordan Family received a signed football by the 2006 CMU football team and a $100 gift certificate courtesy of the Student Book Exchange, along with other great prizes.

Over 20,000 fans packed into Kelly/Shorts Stadium to watch the Chippewas defeat defending Mid-American Conference Akron, 24-21, on Saturday. CMU plays its next three games on the road before returning home to host Ball State on Homecoming on Oct. 14.
