Bubba Gritter has been named the State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Gritter won four of his five matches as CMU finished seventh at National Duals. Gritter, ranked fifth nationally at heavyweight, finished his weekend with a 3-1 overtime victory over No. 3-ranked Dustin Fox (Northwestern).
A physical education major, Gritter maintains a 3.02 grade-point average.
