Westover Named CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT - Dana Westover has been named the State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Westover averaged 8.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as the Chippewas split a pair of contests at the Christmas City Classic at Lehigh University Dec. 29-30. He scored 12 points and pulled down nine boards in the 77-64 victory over Gardner-Webb.
Westover is a health fitness major with a 3.14 GPA.
Each week, State Farm will recognize one male and one female student-athlete as its CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
