Women's basketball junior guard Latisha Luckett is this week's CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Luckett (Detroit, Mich./Detroit Country Day HS) came off the bench to record her first career double-double in the Chippewas' season-opening 76-71 win over Illinois-Chicago. She tallied 11 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.

Luckett is an entrepreneurship major with a 3.08 grade-point average.

Each week, one student-athlete will be named the CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
