Whitney Evers (Little Chute, Wis./New Mexico State University) is this week's CMU's Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Evers, a junior middle blocker on the volleyball team, tallied 30 kills in CMU's two Mid-American Conference Tournament matches. She had 21 kills and nine blocks in the win over Toledo and nine kills and three blocks against Miami. Evers was also named to the All-MAC second team last week.

Evers is an integrative public relations major with a 3.18 grade-point average.

Each week, one student-athlete will be selected as the CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
