Billy Anderson has been named the State Farm CMU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Anderson batted .312 (5-for-16) as CMU won four of its five games last week. He had at least one hit in four of the five games, including going 2-for-2 with a triple, run and RBI against Northwood. He was 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over Kent State. Anderson is hitting .348 in nine games played this season.

Anderson is a sport studies major.

Each week, State Farm will recognize one male and one female student-athlete as its CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
