Sean Hoorelbeke has been named the State Farm CMU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Hoorelbeke batted .467 (7-for-15) with a double, triple, two home runs, four runs scored and 12 RBI as CMU went 4-0 last week. His slugging percentage for the week was 1.067. He had at least one extra base hit and drove in at least two runs in all four games, including driving in the winning runs against Northern Illinois on Friday and Sunday.

Hoorelbeke, a junior, maintains a 3.28 grade-point average as a history major.

Each week, State Farm will recognize one male and one female student-athlete as its CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
