Erika Schroll has been named the State Farm CMU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Schroll won the high jump on the opening day of competition at the Hillsdale Gina Relays. She matched her outdoor-best mark of 5-7 to finish first in a field of 28 competitors. Schroll has now won the high jump at four different events during her first season at CMU.

Schroll, a freshman, has yet to declare a major. She carries a 3.61 grade-point average.

Each week, State Farm will recognize one male and one female student-athlete as its CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
