Josh Collmenter has been named the State Farm CMU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Collmenter allowed just three hits in a complete-game shutout at Bowling Green on Friday. It was his second complete-game shutout in his last three starts.  Collmenter held the Falcons to three singles while striking out a season-high 12 batters. He did not issue a walk in winning his third consecutive start. Collmenter sat the Falcons down in order in five different innings on Friday. He allowed more than one base runner in just one inning.

Collmenter is a junior majoring in marketing. He maintains a 3.82 grade-point average.
