Track and Field Entry Information
SITE: Jack Skoog Track, Indoor Athletic Complex (IAC), Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI
PARKING: Team parking is located in lot 62 adjacent to the IAC. Parking for spectators all parking lots adjacent to the IAC.
TRACK: 200-meter (Martin) 6 lanes on curve, 8 lanes on straightway
FIELD EVENTS: Wood throwing rings and cage. 2 long jump and triple jump pits with unlimited approaches. 2 high jump and pole vault pits.
WEIGH IN: 4:00-4:30 p.m. in Turf Bay.
SHOES: Pyramid spikes of 1/4" or less only!
ENTRY FEE: $200 per team or $300 combined for both men’s and women’s teams competing.
UNATTACHED: $25 per person. All unattached athletes must pay at the door and get hand stamp in order to compete. Clerk will check unattached athletes for hand stamps. No charge for CMU students with valid Chip ID cards.
AWARDS/SCORING: None/Non-scored
CHECK IN AND PACKET PICK UP: IAC Lobby 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: List all entries and current performances on enclosed entry form. Return form via fax to (989) 774-1347 or 774-1946
Deadline Wednesday, January 9th by Noon
Final Declaration: Noon on Friday, January 11, 2008
NO ADDITIONS DAY OF MEET!
RESULTS: Available shortly after the conclusion of the meet. Results will also be posted on website: www.cmuchippewas.com.
TRAINING FACILITIES: Trainers and training facilities will be available beginning one hour prior to competition and throughout the meet located on site. (If you have any special needs, please contact us)
RULES: NCAA rules will govern the meet
ADMISSION: $5
TEAM CAMPS: Teams must set up camps in the turf bay. No athletes will be allowed in the stands.
