Tara Schiltz is this week's State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Schiltz, a junior on the field hockey team, scored the game-winning goal in both of CMU's wins against Missouri State last weekend. She broke a 1-1 tie with a goal late in the first half of an eventual 3-1 win on Saturday, then scored CMU's first goal in a 2-0 win on Sunday. The victories improved CMU's Mid-American Conference record to 5-4.

Schiltz maintains a 3.58 grade-point average as a health fitness major.

Each week, one student-athlete is selected as the State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
