CMU Alum Loiselle Wins Niagara Falls International Marathon

NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario - Former Central Michigan University cross country star Matt Loiselle won the 2008 Niagara Falls International Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 26. The Windsor, Ontario native paced the field with a time of 2:27:33.
Loiselle competed for CMU from 2004-2008, earning All-Mid-American Conference honors three times in his career. He was also an Academic All-MAC selection in cross country and track during the 2006 campaign.
Loiselle has continued competing in various races since graduating from Central. Prior to Sunday’s race, he won the HBC Run for Canada on July 1; ran in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sept. 28; and finished sixth in the Run with the Champions 10K on Oct. 18.
