Brandon Carter is this week's CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Carter won both of his matches last week as the fourth-ranked Chippewas defeated No. 20 Kent State, 25-9, and Ohio, 45-0, to clinch their 10th consecutive MAC title. Carter earned an 8-3 decision over Kent State's Sli Bostelman and pinned Ohio's Kevin Christensen. Carter was one of three CMU seniors to win by fall in his final appearance at Rose Arena on Sunday.

A senior majoring in entrepreneurship, Carter maintains a 3.36 grade-point average.
