Kelly McClure is this week's CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

McClure, a member of the Chippewas' cross country and track and field teams, won the 3,000m steeplechase at the prestigious Sea Ray Relays last weekend. McClure's time of 10:56.80 was nearly nine seconds faster than the race's runner-up. McClure finished first in a field of 15 competitors.

McClure, a senior, maintains a 3.97 grade-point average as a health fitness major.

Each week, one student-athlete is selected as the CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
