Junior pitcher Ali Pettit is this week's CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Pettit was 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA last week. She notched shutouts against Oakland and Miami and allowed just one unearned run against Ball State. For the week, opponents hit just .179 against her. She fired a three-hitter versus Oakland and a four-hitter against Ball State. She also fanned seven against BSU. She now has 35 career wins and needs just two more to join CMU's all-time top 10.

Pettit maintains a 3.93 grade-point average as a communication disorders major.
