Sean Hoorelbeke is this week's CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Hoorelbeke, a senior on the baseball team, drove in 11 runs as the Chippewas won three of four games last week. He hit two home runs and drove in seven runs in a 16-5 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday, the final game of the regular season and a game the Chippewas needed to win to secure a spot in the MAC Tournament. In the final two games of the regular season, Hoorelbeke was 6-for-9 at the plate with two home runs, two doubles 10 runs batted in and four runs scored.

A history major, Hoorelbeke maintains a 3.36 GPA.
