Andrea de la Garza is this week's State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
A sophomore on the gymnastics team, de la Garza finished second in the vault (9.775) and third on the floor (9.800) in the Chippewas' win at Western Michigan last week. CMU improved to 3-0 on the year, including 1-0 in the MAC, with the victory.
De la Garza maintains a 3.65 grade-point average as a health fitness major.
Each week, one student-athlete is selected as the State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
