MOUNT PLEASANT -- The third annual Rose Rowdie Training/Fright Night was a rousing success at Rose Center on Wednesday, with well over 800 attendees who witnessed an entertaining show put on by the Central Michigan men's and women's basketball teams.
After the trainees learned a few CMU traditions from the cheerleaders, the crowd was engaged with a few contests and games, as well as free pizza.
The two basketball teams were then introduced to the fans, and after a brief intersquad scrimmage by the women's team, the two teams squared off in a three-point shooting contest.
Senior Jordan Bitzer would take home the crown, defeating freshman Jalisa Olive in the final.
The men's team then had three contestants, freshman Sean Day, junior William McClure and senior Robbie Harman, square off in a dunk contest. The results can be viewed on CMU Sports Zone.
