Jeff Shutich is this week's State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Shutich, a redshirt freshman on the wrestling team, was victorious in his Mid-American Conference dual debut at Northern Illinois on Sunday. He was leading 7-1 through two periods when NIU's Pat McLemore injury defaulted. Shutich improved to 14-2 on the season with the win.

Shutich maintains a 3.22 GPA as an entrepreneurship major.
