Scott Phillion

Scott Phillion is this week's State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Phillion, a redshirt freshman on the baseball team, batted .375 (6-for-16) with two doubles and a home run last week. He scored six runs and drove in seven. Phillion drove in three runs in a game twice last week, including Sunday's 9-5, 10-inning win at Western Michigan. His two-run double in the 10th inning put CMU in front for good in Sunday's win.

Phillion maintains a 3.22 grade-point average as an operations management major.
