Lohner Named MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT — Junior runner Raeanne Lohner was named the Female Mid-American Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Thursday.
Lohner placed second at the Mid-American Conference championship meet on Saturday, October 30. She finished with a time of 20:43 in the 6K race and helped guide the Chippewas to a second place finish.
The Grand Rapids, Mich., native sports sports a 3.92 grade point average while majoring in English
The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honor is presented to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during the week's competition.
