In the 3000m races, senior Danielle Dakroub finished fourth in the women's race and senior Chris Pankow took sixth in the men's side. Both set new personal bests; Dakroub's time was 9:45.42 while Pankow's time was 8:35.52.

The women's team finished in seventh and the men came in fifth.
"If this weekend was like a basketball game, I would say we had a bad first half, regrouped at halftime and finished strong without a key individual for the women's team," said director of track and field/cross country Willie Randolph . "Raeanne Lohner was unable to score in either the 3,000m or the 5,000m due to an injury we will have evaluated once we get home.
"I was proud of the way our men and women stepped up and competed well today. The men had a solid weekend scoring 20 more points than last year and setting numerous PRs. We made great moves forward, but lost a key contributor in the midst of the hunt for a title. The men are moving in the right direction, and we will continue to put the right people in place to make great things happen. We know our placing wasn't what he hoped for, but as a team we grew tremendously which will prove valuable in the near future."
