Complete with two pits each for pole vault, long jump and high jump, as well as an area for both the hammer toss and shot put, the 200m track hosts several college and high school meets each year and offers a convenient place to practice for the Central Michigan track and field program. It is also utilized for camps and physical education courses. The facility also houses the offices for the CMU track and field coaching staff, as well as a meeting room and a scorekeeper's booth. The facility utilizes HyTek's Finish Lynx timing system to ensure accuracy of results, and has permanent seating for 1,000 spectators. |
