MAC Announces 2012-13 Basketball TV Schedule

The women's program will host a live television contest inside McGuirk Arena when it plays Buffalo on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. The Chippewas will also be featured during their MAC opener at Toledo on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
The men's program will be featured on SportsTime Ohio (STO) twice - at Eastern Michigan Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m., and at Akron Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.
Additional games may also be added to the the television schedule as the MAC has 10 wildcard windows for the men - five on MAC affiliates and five on ESPN - while the women have two wildcard windows.
Along with STO, the MAC has also secured potential regional clearances in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois for select games via the following distribution platforms - Comcast Michigan (channel 900), Comcast Indiana (channel 81/concentrated in Indianapolis, Muncie and Ft. Wayne areas) and Comcast Sports Net Chicago. All have indicated they will air games live when possible with teams specific to their region depending on existing programming commitments. They have also indicated many other games could air on a same-day or next-day delayed basis.
All games will also air live in the Buffalo market via DirecTV (channel 662) and Dish Network (channel 431).
