Chippewa Golfers 12th After Round 2

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - Central Michigan's Kristen Wolfe shot 73-79 - 152 Sunday and is among a group tied for 18th place after the opening 36 holes of the Mid-American Conference Fall Preview golf tournament at Purgatory Golf Club.
CMU opened the 54-hole event with a 318 team score on Sunday morning, and followed with a 323 on Sunday afternoon. The final 18-hole round is scheduled for Monday morning.
The 641 team total places CMU 12th in the 13-team field. Host Eastern Michigan leads the tournament after shooting 299-299 - 598. The Eagles hold a one-shot lead over Toledo and Akron.
Also for the Chippewas, Natalie Johnson shot 84-78 - 162 and is among a group tied for 53rd; Bria Colosky shot 82-82 - 164; Chloe Guschewski shot 79-86 - 165; and Holly Hines shot 85-84 - 169. CMU's Hannah Matthies, playing as an individual, shot 93-94 - 187.
Frida Fougberg of Akron opened with a 3-under 69 and followed with an even-par 72 for a five-shot lead over Marissa Uradomo of Indiana State in the individual standings.
