Track and Field Recognized to Academic All-MAC Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Twenty-one Central Michigan student-athletes were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Indoor Track & Field team.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of his or her team's events.
Named to the squad from the Chippewa men's team were Anthony Mark Armstrong, sophomore, 3.27 GPA; Dylan Banagis, sophomore, 3.89; Quincy Lamont Briggs, sophomore, 3.32; Nathan Robert Ghena, junior, 3.31; Tyler Hamilton, sophomore, 3.88; Anderson Lee, junior, 3.68; Michael J. McCarty Jr., junior, 3.62; Monte Leroy Scott, junior, 3.81; Casey Alexander Voisin, sophomore, 3.62.
Named to the squad from the CMU women's team were Esther Bell, sophomore, 3.68; Michaela Bundy, sophomore, 3.70; Kylee Dobbalaere, sophomore, 3.28; Bridget Doughty, senior, 3.84; Emma Fishnick, senior, 3.74; Abbey Kelto, senior, 3.68; Jamie Madrigal, sophomore, 3.44; Katelyn Maylee, junior, 3.81; Alexandra Mielke, junior, 3.36; Kelsey Ross, sophomore, 3.31; Kelly Schubert, junior, 3.92; Katelyn Weiler, sophomore, 3.64.
