
14 Chippewas On Academic All-MAC Track & Field Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Fourteen members of the Central Michigan men's and women's track & field teams were named Academic All-Mid-American Conference for the 2016 season.
Academic All-MAC recipients must achieve a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of his or her team's competitions.
The CMU representatives are (listed with year, GPA and major): Anthony Armstrong, junior, 3.36, mechanical engineering; Dylan Banagis, junior, 3.89, entrepreneurship; Scott Cousino, sophomore, 3.86, sport management; Silas DeKalita, junior, 3.77, economics; Kylee Dobbelaere, junior, 3.46, sport management; Erick Huertas, sophomore, 3.72, accounting; Megan O'Neil, sophomore, 3.66, dietetics; Rebekah Petty, sophomore, 3.91, exercise science - kinesiology; Kelsey Ross, junior, 3.22, biology; Kelly Schubert, junior, 3.94, exercise science - kinesiology; DeJanae Terry, senior, 3.21, undeclared; Casey Voisin, junior, 3.63, social studies; Amber Wagner, sophomore, 3.36, management; Kyla Walton, sophomore, 3.56, biomedical sciences.
Four Chippewas -- Banagis, Voisin, Dobbelaere and Schubert -- earned Academic All-MAC last season.
