Basketball, Baseball On Tap At Sideliners

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Basketball and baseball are on the docket tonight at Sideliners, the weekly radio show that takes listeners inside Central Michigan athletics.
Host Don Chiodo welcomes Central Michigan women's basketball coach Sue Guevara, men's basketball coach Keno Davis, and Chippewa baseball coach Steve Jaksa to the show, which begins at 6 p.m.
Also scheduled to join the show are DaRohn Scott of the men's basketball team, Alex Borglin and Jordan Grosjean of the baseball team, and Jewel Cotton and Reyna Frost of the women's basketball team.
The CMU men's basketball team, which on Tuesday moved into a first-place tie in the MAC West with a victory at Ohio, plays at Miami (Ohio) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The Chippewa women's team, fresh off its big road win at Northern Illinois, plays host to rival Western Michigan on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The CMU baseball team opens the 2017 season on Friday, Feb. 17, when it begins a three-game series at East Tennesee State.
The show will be carried live beginning at 6 p.m. on WUPS-FM 98.5.
There is no admission charge, and an RSVP is not necessary. Fans arriving before 6 p.m. will have the opportunity to interact with coaching staff and student-athletes in an informal setting.
