• The Colonial Relays will give some of the CMU distance runners their opportunity to head down south after staying home from the Tennessee Rust Buster last weekend.
• Central Michigan will only participate in Friday's portion of the relays as they will feature 10 total entries in seven events.
• Silas DeKalita, Joseph Emmanuel, Spencer Nousain and Bransen Stimpfel will all compete in the men's 5,000-meter run, the only event with multiple Chippewa entrants.
• The Charles A. Gray Invitational at Alma will feature 46 Chippewa student-athletes who will be spread out over 24 events.
• The CMU throwers will be on full display in Alma as Dylan Banagis, Roman Greco and Logan Targgart will all compete in both the men's discus and hammer throw, while Valerie Johnson will do the same for the women.
• Five other Chippewa throwers will take part in either the hammer or discus individually, while Greco and Kevin Weiler will also compete in the men's shot put.
• Multi-event athletes Joe Seghi, Nicholas Malliaras will each compete in four different events (discus, high jump, 400-meter and 1500-meter runs), the most of any CMU athlete this weekend. April Michaeux will take part in three events - long jump, 100-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash -- for the CMU women.
