Alford To Stop By This Week At Sideliners

CMU basketball coaches Davis, Guevara join Adam Jaksa tonight
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Michael Alford, Central Michigan's Zyzelewski Family Associate Vice President/Director of Athletics, is the featured guest this week on Sideliners, the weekly radio show hosted this week by Adam Jaksa.
The show runs from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday and emanates from Hunter's Ale House in Mount Pleasant. The public is welcome and can take the opportunity to mingle with Chippewa coaches and players.
CMU basketball coaches Keno Davis and women's basketball coach Sue Guevara are also scheduled to join the show this week, along with players Micaela Kelly and Gabby Bird of the women's team, and men's team member Larry Austin Jr.
The CMU men, who improve to 7-2 with a triple-overtime victory at Youngstown State on Tuesday, are scheduled to play host to Southern Utah on Saturday (4:30 p.m.) at McGuirk Arena.
The Chippewa women are 7-1 and ranked fifth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. They have won six consecutive games and play at Vanderbilt on Saturday, Dec. 15. They return to McGuirk Arena to play their first home game since Nov. 21 when they take on fifth-ranked Louisville on Thursday, Dec. 20.
