Basketball, golf success the topics for Sideliners

Feb. 15, 2018 Central Michigan men's and women's basketball and golf is the focus today at the weekly live Sideliners radio show at Hunter's Ale House.
The show begins at 6 p.m. and is hosted by Adam Jaksa on WUPS-FM 98.5 and on the CMU Chippewas Game Day app, and is rebroadcast on Thursday at 8 p.m. on WLUN-FM 100.9.
CMU men's basketball coach Keno Davis will open the show and discuss the key road victory the Chippewas earned Tuesday at Northern Illinois. Coach Sue Guevara will answers questions about the women's basketball team, which has the best overall record in the Mid-American Conference at 12-1 and is 20-4 overall. Both coaches will bring key players to the show and discuss the doubleheader Saturday in McGuirk Arena.
The women face Eastern Michigan on Saturday at 1 p.m., and the men take on Eastern Michigan at 4:30 p.m.
For the women, the game is the annual Play4Kay Pink game. The team will wear pink jerseys. A silent auction for pink jerseys and shoes will be conducted in the lobby in the first half of the game. CMU opened its spring season by going 2-1 at the event, its best showing in the four years it has partaken in it. Team members Natalie Johnson and Jami Laude will join Stacy on the show.
