June 5, 2018 The annual Chippewa Challenge, Central Michigan Athletics largest fundraising event, is scheduled for Friday at three golf courses, but the action is well underway with the online silent auction.
The auction is one of the most popular and highly anticipated parts of the Chippewa Challenge - presented by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, CMU Bookstore and Graff Chevrolet - and it is being conducted exclusively online in 2018.
Online bidding ends at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 8; there will be no silent auction this year at the dinner at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort.
Auction items include items autographed by former CMU greats such as Antonio Brown, Dan Majerle, Eric Fisher, JJ Watt, Cooper Rush, Kavon Frazier and Tyler Conklin; golf-trip packages; Chippewa athletic department apparel; autographed jerseys, football helmets and equipment.
